Relación entre kinesiofobia, capacidad al ejercicio y funcionalidad en pacientes con Parkinson y congelación de la marcha en ``On

Resumen
Enfermedad de Parkinson (EP) es la segunda enfermedad neurodegenerativa más común en el mundo y la primera en Europa, presentando una prevalencia cada vez mayor debido a su correlación con la edad. La congelación de la marcha es un trastorno motor que provoca un bloqueo principalmente de miembros inferiores, generando la incapacidad de dar el paso. Además la congelación de la marcha es uno de los trastornos motores más incapacitantes de la EP, sobre todo en las fases más avanzadas de la enfermedad y que además se relaciona con otras complicaciones, como son el riesgo de caídas, limitación de actividades e incluso calidad de vida; esto a su vez induce a una disminución del movimiento y actividad física de los pacientes con EP y congelación de la marcha. A pesar de que estudios previos muestran la relación entre kinesiofobia, capacidad al ejercicio y funcionalidad en pacientes con EP, no hay evidencias sobre esta relación en aquellos que presentan congelación de la marcha en ``On´´.
