Habits of consumption of the New Technologies in Teenagers. Use or abuse?

Abstract
The communication process is produced through information and communication technologies (ICTS), especially in the adolescent population. The objective was to evaluate and to assess the problematic use of the ICTS. The sample was integrated by 57 adolescents (37 women and 20 males) between 14 and 18 years, students of last high school courses. A proper questionnaire applied to itself that associate was measuring demographic variables, educational level and habits of the use of ICTS and the Internet, and the Spanish adaptation of “Mobile Phone Problem Use Scale”. Authorization was requested to the center, to the legal tutors and to the participants. We used the statistical package SPSS, version 25.0. The results it is demonstrated that 26.3 % of the sample obtained a high-severe punctuation as for the problematic use of the mobile phone, confirming dependency relationships towards these devices and identifying the main areas of such repercussions.
