Journal description
The Chilean Journal of Rehabilitation and Physical Activity (RevChiREAF) is an electronic open access journal with peer review, whose objective is to disseminate scientific knowledge in the field of rehabilitation and physical activity and its effects on the quality of life and health of people in order to share knowledge and awaken the interest and concern of professionals and researchers.
Objectives
-Disseminate scientific knowledge in the field of rehabilitation and physical activity and its effects on the quality of life and health of people in order to share knowledge and arouse the interest and concern of professionals and researchers.
-Communicate the scientific knowledge generated in the field of health sciences and physical activity through a multi-disciplinary journal that addresses professional areas such as kinesiology, physical education, psychology, occupational therapy and physiatrics.
-Publish original works that are relevant to publicize on issues related to the impact of physical activity on the health of individuals.
Publication frequency
Until 2023, the journal followed a biannual publication schedule, with issues released in June and December of each calendar year. It currently operates under a continuous publication model, in which articles are published throughout the year within a single annual volume.
Focus
The areas in which manuscripts will be received are all those related to the sciences of rehabilitation and physical activity such as: Rehabilitation of human movement, physical exercise, exercise physiology, motor behavior, motor control, sports performance, human movement medicine, aging, sports psychology, nutrition and sport, among others.
RevChiREAF publishes in Spanish and English, following the order of publication of the accepted articles.
The sections include research article, scientific article derived from bibliographic reviews, theoretical article derived from systematic practical experiences, scientific articles derived from a metaanalyses and tests to be submitted to external arbitration in accordance with the evaluation process defined for this purpose. Editorials, brief communication, letters to the editor, book reviews and communication of events of scientific or informative interest, will be evaluated by the editor and published in another section that will not be arbitrated.
RevChiREAF does not charge article processing fees (APC) or article submission fees for any of the editorial or publication processes.
The Chilean Journal of Rehabilitation and Physical Activity (RevChiREAF) is declared as a serial publication of open access that uses a Creative Commons License of Recognition -Non-Commercial- without derivatives 4.0 International (CC BY-NC-ND 4.0).
Since January 2025, the magazine has been distributed under Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 International (CC BY 4.0) licensing in accordance with the university’s open access policy and the FAIR principles of open science

All manuscripts will be sent to members of the Editorial Committee and experts on the subject for their evaluation, which will be anonymous and in pairs.

SciComm Report
##home.issn## 2735-623XSciComm Report, (SciComm rep.) is a serial and peer-reviewed publication that has been created to contribute to multidisciplinary scientific dissemination that has an impact on people, their social and cultural environments, as well as the development of technology that improves the quality of life of individuals and their communities.
SciComm Report is the official body of the Science Communication Center of the Universidad Autónoma de Chile. It is open access and uses a Creative Commons Attribution-NonCommercial 4.0 International (CC BY-NC- 4.0).
We are interested in articles that seek to understand how knowledge circulates in society in all its forms. The journal covers a wide variety of topics related to science, technology, knowledge and innovation and their ways of communicating it, from STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics) disciplines to the social sciences and humanities. Articles addressing objectives of transferring to the community results obtained from conventional research and also the reporting of systematic experiences of citizen science, as well as environmental and health communication are welcome.
Objective: To disseminate original articles relating to all aspects of science communication. Analytical studies are generally preferred to descriptive studies.
Mission: Promote the professionalization of science communication through systematic analysis of the different forms of knowledge transfer and dissemination.
Vision: SciComm rep., seeks to be a space for academic discussion and multidisciplinary dialogue in the area of scientific communication between research and academic peers in the area.
Aimed at: Academics, researchers and professionals of any discipline who carry out systematic activities of knowledge transfer to society and scientific dissemination in any of its forms.
SciComm Report publishes in the continuous publication scheme in Spanish and English, following the order of publication of the accepted articles.

Revista Justicia & Derecho

It belongs to the Office of the Vice Chancellor for Research and Doctorates of the Universidad Autónoma de Chile (Autonomous University of Chile) and under the scientific supervision of the Research Institute in Law (IID) of the Faculty of Law.
Approach and scope
The journal articles published by the Justice and Law Journal will focus on current, Chilean or comparative law (international contributions), and the grow and development of normative, jurisprudential or doctrinal sources in Spanish and English.
The Justice and Law Journal aims to build a space for academic and scientific discussion of the legal discipline with an extensive international and multidisciplinary scope.

Revista Iberoamericana de Estudios Municipales
##home.issn## 0719-1790The Ibero-American Journal of Municipal Studies (RIEM), belonging to the Universidad Autónoma de Chile, is a free and open-access scientific publication of Ibero-American scope. The journal is published continuously and contains unpublished academic articles and reviews, published in Spanish, Portuguese and English.
RIEM seeks to become a space for interdisciplinary dialogue around local and territorial processes in Latin America. Along with the analysis of subnational development and public management, the journal incorporates perspectives that address socio-territorial dynamics, ecological transformations, economic and social processes with differentiated effects on territories, as well as the tensions arising from multi-level governance. The journal receives contributions that, on the basis of case studies or comparative approaches, link the empirical with broader theoretical frameworks at a national, regional or global level.
The disciplines covered include, but are not limited to, public administration, political science, sociology, law, economics, anthropology, psychology, geography, environmental studies, and territorial development.
In 2023, the journal switched to continuous publication and since January 2025 uses Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 International (CC BY 4.0) licensing according to the university’s open access policy and the FAIR principles of open science. In 2025, it also established a policy on the use of artificial intelligence by authors and in the editorial review and production process.
The RIEM magazine does not charge fees (APC) for the submission and processing of papers, nor does it charge fees for the publication of its articles.
