The Journal of Management & Business Studies of the Faculty of Administration and Business of the Autonomous University of Chile also publishes thematic issues of monographic content, determined by the Editorial Board and the Editorial Team.
Calls for articles for these thematic issues will be duly publicised on the magazine’s website and other media. Guest editors will be involved in the editorial production, and they will support the general editor in the drafting and editorial production process. The invited editors will be specialists in the subjects covered by these issues.
As regards the working format and rules of citation (APA 7th edition), the thematic issues will follow the requirements and guidelines established for continuous submission. They will also be subjected to a double-blind peer review process, plagiarism detection, and compliance with privacy, ethics, and negligence statements.
In addition to the exclusion criteria applicable to continuous frequency submissions, the following are added for thematic issues:
1) The submission or contribution fails to comply with the line, subject matter, or central issue defined for the thematic issue.
2) The submission or contribution does not have a substantial impact on the disciplinary area of the line, subject matter or central issue defined for the thematic issue.
3) The submission or contribution fails to meet the formal conditions and additional appointments established for submissions of continuous periodicity that the Journal may adopt.
