In the framework of the V International Seminar on Organizational Studies for Sustainability, organized by the Research Group on Sustainable Organizational Studies (GIEOS-FAN), of the Faculty of Administration and Business of the Autonomous University of Chile, presents this thematic issue of the Journal of Management & Business Studies, entitled "Organizational Studies for Sustainability: Administrative strategies and business management in the post-globalized economy".
This volume brings together a set of scientific papers that address, from multidisciplinary and critical approaches, the challenges and transformations faced by organizations in an environment characterized by the reconfiguration of economic dynamics, social and environmental impacts on a global scale for climate change. Sustainability, understood as a transversal axis for organizational decision-making, is articulated in these studies with new forms of management, business innovation, social responsibility and ethical leadership.
This issue seeks to contribute to the academic debate on business management in contexts of uncertainty, ecological transition and demand for shared value, highlighting administrative strategies that promote organizational resilience, environmental regeneration and commitment to sustainable development. It also analyzes cases, models and experiences that emerge in this post-globalized economy, marked by digitalization, climate change, the fragmentation of value chains and the need to rethink the role of companies in society.
