The minimum set of data reporting of mental health history.

Abstract

The main objective of this study is to announce to the specialized scientific community the modifications introduced by Royal Decree 1093/2011, of 3 September, which approved the minimum set of data of the clinical reports in the National Health System, and how it will affect mental health clinical histories. It has been developed by means of a thorough study of the main psychological and legal variables, reaching the conclusion that coordination and collaboration between the Ministry of Health and Consumption and the health authorities of the autonomous Regions will allow for the implantation of a compatible system of clinical histories that will enable their use by the assistance centers throughout the State. This will avoid duplicities in explorations and procedures which are required for diagnosis and treatment of any mental health patient.
