El Integrando la conservación de la biodiversidad en la toma de decisiones a nivel local: un estudio de la disposición a pagar en el parque nacional Yanachagachemillen

Resumo

Saber a disposição da população local em pagar pela conservação da biodiversidade ajuda os governos locais a tomar decisões informadas e desenvolver políticas públicas para proteger o meio ambiente, considerando a percepção e a capacidade econômica da população. Um estudo sobre isso no Peru pode ajudar na gestão de ecossistemas e políticas públicas ambientais. No primeiro trimestre de 2020, durante a pandemia, foram realizadas 2414 pesquisas não presenciais no Parque Nacional Yanachaga-Chemillén para medir a disposição em pagar pela conservação da biodiversidade. Os resultados mostraram que a disposição em pagar por domicílio era de 6 USD/domicílio, o que é importante para a tomada de decisões nos governos locais e para a conservação do parque
