Analysis of Doctoral Programs with Mention of Quality

Abstract

The Mention of Quality, awarded by the National Agency for Quality Assessment and Accreditation, gave recognition to the scientific, technical and educational to Spanish ?s doctoral programs. From 2003-2004, the number of programs it was increased 60%. It was analyzed 671 doctorate programs with Mention of Quality. Information was collected with supports programs websites, legislation of each university and online survey sent to the coordinators. Results show general features of the doctoral programs, common features between training and specific features of master ?s and doctoral period. Finally, it discussed these features establishing differences in each period.
